What is SEO?
Search Engine Optimisation or SEO is the process of influencing a website's rankings on the organic search engine results pages.
In layman terms, SEO is done to "impress" search engines in order rank highly on the search engine results pages and get free traffic to your website.
Course Overview
In this 2-day SEO course, you will learn how to rank your website on the 1st page of Google.
From keyword research, on-page SEO, link building, to analytics, you will be given many opportunities for hands-on, implementation, and group discussions in order to grasp the core concepts of SEO.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the workshop, you will:
✓ Be able to use at least 2 keyword research tools to build a comprehensive target ranking keywords list.
✓ Be able to conduct a full on-page SEO audit on a corporate HTML website.
✓ Have an actionable strategy for acquiring backlinks to increase your rankings on Google.
✓ Be able to create and draw reports on your SEO campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
